What Happens in Vegas...

For spring break this year I met up with one of my best friends, Kiri, in Vegas for four days. It was a much needed vacation. We had so much fun. Here are a few of the things we did. The first day we were there we went and saw Phantom of the Opera. We got an amazing deal on our tickets. So we walk up to the counter and the ticket lady pulls out the seating chart and points to the different sections and tells us how much tickets would be. The tickets ranged from $100-$150. Kiri and I both look at each other trying to figure out how much we were willing to pay. Then the ticket lady leans towards us and whispers "do you have student IDs?" Of course we both say yes and ask why. She told us that she could get us tickets on the balcony for $33 each. We were both really excited and said we would take them. Then when we get to the theater and start heading to our seats the usher told us that the show wasn't sold out and there were empty seats in the third row of the balcony we could sit in. Again we were so happy. The show was amazing and I highly recommend everyone to see it.

The next day was St. Patrick's day. So of course I made sure I was wearing green. Kiri's green wasn't very green, it was more of a blue.

But anyways, since I had never been to Vegas we decide that we were just going to spend the day on the strip going to all the different hotels. One of my favorites was the Bellagio Hotel. Inside they had a conservatory and botanical garden. The flowers were gorgeous.

One of my favorite parts of the garden was the little creatures made out of flowers.

After we left the garden we walked out into the lobby. On the ceiling of the lobby was blown glass flowers. It was so pretty.

Here are other

Later that night we went and saw Jersey Boys and Mystere Cirque De Soleil. When we went to get the tickets for the shows we asked if they did student discounts. But alas neither one did. So we got the cheapest tickets we could for both. Jersey Boys wasn't sold out so again we got better seats. Mystere however was sold out, which was fine because the seats we did have were just fine. Both shows were amazing. During Jersey Boys Kiri and I both had to control ourselves so we wouldn't get up and dance along with them. Then at Mystere I was just in awe of everything that they did.

The next day we spent the morning and afternoon relaxing at the pool. It was so relaxing and the weather was so nice. Then later that night we met up with my roommate, Lisa, from freshmen year. It was fun for all of us to catch up since we hadn't seen her in a long time. Also that night I finally saw the fountains at the Bellagio. It was pretty amazing.

So there you go. That's what I did for spring break. We had so much fun and I cant wait for our next vacation.
