The next day was St. Patrick's day. So of course I made sure I was wearing green. Kiri's green wasn't very green, it was more of a blue.
But anyways, since I had never been to Vegas we decide that we were just going to spend the day on the strip going to all the different hotels. One of my favorites was the Bellagio Hotel. Inside they had a conservatory and botanical garden. The flowers were gorgeous. One of my favorite parts of the garden was the little creatures made out of flowers.
(Ladybug made with carnations. Snail made with rose buds)
After we left the garden we walked out into the lobby. On the ceiling of the lobby was blown glass flowers. It was so pretty.
Here are other random pictures from that day.
Outside Treasure Island.
Outside Caesars Palace
Later that night we went and saw Jersey Boys and Mystere Cirque De Soleil. When we went to get the tickets for the shows we asked if they did student discounts. But alas neither one did. So we got the cheapest tickets we could for both. Jersey Boys wasn't sold out so again we got better seats. Mystere however was sold out, which was fine because the seats we did have were just fine. Both shows were amazing. During Jersey Boys Kiri and I both had to control ourselves so we wouldn't get up and dance along with them. Then at Mystere I was just in awe of everything that they did.
The next day we spent the morning and afternoon relaxing at the pool. It was so relaxing and the weather was so nice. Then later that night we met up with my roommate, Lisa, from freshmen year. It was fun for all of us to catch up since we hadn't seen her in a long time. Also that night I finally saw the fountains at the Bellagio. It was pretty amazing.
So there you go. That's what I did for spring break. We had so much fun and I cant wait for our next vacation.

Sounds like you had a great time. I love the fun pictures. The creatures out of flowers are amazing.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had fun, I've been meaning to ask you how it was. The lady who hooked you up with the student discount is awesome! Miss you!
ReplyDeletePretty amazing!?!, The fountains at the Bellagio are Incredible!
ReplyDeleteFunny, I went down there too for our spring break, but it was a couple weeks after yours. We loved the flowers in the Bellagio, the fountains, and the shows (La Reve, and Tournament of the Kings). Fun week! =0)
